The whole concept will be dead and buried by the next election - even if the government claims that it will stop WMDs and terrorists. I am interested if you have evidence to back up your statement that banning guns hasn't dropped the crime rate ? All I can find are statistics showing firearm murders per capita are ten times lower in Australia compared to the USA.
