I’m in London for a couple weeks for work.
Going through customs is an interesting process – especially when you can’t prove you actually should be allowed in the country.
This that somebody should have told me before I left:
- bring a print-out of your itinerary
- know the address(es) of where you’re staying
- have cash already (not merely a debit card)
- have a map and/or directions handy for how to get both
- to your hotel
- to the job site
- better plans
Thankfully the customs lady let me in, after I kept confirming the same [true] story about what I’m here for 🙂
